Syngenta Project - Advantage Air Systems

What We Did

Advantage Air Systems were responsible for the entire mechanical package – from the initial budgetary designs for costing at the conceptual stage, through to the final mechanical design, specification and installation.

Following approval of the budgets, Advantage Air Systems was tasked with the supply and installation of new mechanical services to serve the new office space, meeting rooms, breakout areas and laboratories.

Ten heat recovery VRF systems were installed to provide cooling and heating to the occupied spaces via ducted fan coil units (FCU’s) and ceiling cassette indoor units. Mechanical ventilation was supplied via five heat recovery air handling units and conventional radiators were employed to provide supplemental heating to the perimeter of the building.

The new breakout areas and refurbished toilets required the installation of extensive new domestic services (MCWS & HWS) and drainage.

Existing PVC fume extract systems were modified to suit the revised layout and mechanical cooling installed to serve two refurbished laboratories.

All of the new systems were integrated into the existing site BMS system which was upgraded as part of the works.
